Complete IRS W-4

The IRS W-4 form must be completed on your first day of employment. You can complete the IRS W-4 using the W-4 Banner Self-Service Directions. If you have any questions, or require assistance with completion of this form, please contact the Payroll Office at (757) 221-2848.

Purchase a Parking Pass

The Office of Human Resources can provide you with a complimentary temporary parking pass. You will need to obtain your permanent parking pass from Parking & Transportation Services before this pass expires.  You can complete the Faculty and Staff Registration form in advance or obtain the form from Parking & Transportation Services. You will need to know your car make, model, year, and license plate information in order to complete the request.

Parking & Transportation Services provides spaces directly to the right of the building for persons without a parking pass. Please park in one of those spaces to prevent getting a parking ticket while buying your parking pass!

Attend Benefit Orientation

You have 30 days from your hire date to complete your benefit forms and submit them to the Human Resource Office. Not sure what is available to you? Don't stress, come to the Benefit Orientation offered twice a month! Talk to your supervisor about attending the next available Benefit Orientation. Please remember to bring any beneficiary and/or dependant information with you when you attend.

Attend University Orientation

William & Mary has a rich culture unique to many institutions. Attend University Orientation to find out what makes William & Mary such a great place to work! You will tour multiple parts of campus and learn of the many resources available to you as an employee. University Orientation is a full day of fun offered once a month and is something you do not want to miss!

Obtain Your ID Card

You can get your ID card, or Tribe card as we like to call it, from Tribe Card Services located in Room 169 of the Campus Center. Please bring a current government-issued photo ID with you.
