A message from the College's Hazing Prevention Coalition
The Hazing Prevention Coalition is interdisciplinary group of students, faculty and staff working to prevent hazing within the W&M community. A large barrier to the prevention of hazing is both the failure to report hazing activities and the lack of knowledge of how to report hazing. To that end, the Hazing Prevention Coalition has been working in conjunction with the Dean of Students Office to make reporting concerns easier for all members of the community. Information on how to report concerns about hazing can be found here.
(Hazing is not isolated to just fraternities or sororities but can take place in any membership oriented group or team. The Office of Greek Life is pleased to be able to support the Hazing Prevention Coalition by sharing information about new college reporting mechanisms.)
