Zach Hall is an active duty, Air Force officer currently working at the Pentagon in the Chief of Staff of the Air Force’s Strategic Studies Group. He provides strategic assessments, options, and recommendations on military strategy and national security strategy to the Chief of Staff of the Air Force in his role as a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Zach entered active duty following his graduation from the United States Air Force Academy. He and his wife Katie, along with their four children, have enjoyed assignments in Texas, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Washington, Ohio, Alabama, and the District of Columbia. He is an airlift pilot and parachutist with master’s degrees in Aerospace Science, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Military Strategy and is a graduate from the Secretary of Defense’s Executive Leadership Development Program. His research interests are national security, international relations, instruments of national power, and strategy, among many others.
