Join us in celebrating the first day of classes with a ceremony marking the Opening of the Academic Year. While the Opening Convocation tradition we know and love will have to wait until we can safely gather for this beloved tradition, on August 19 we will come together virtually as a community to welcome all of our students to William & Mary.

If your account is private, send a direct message to @william_and_mary on Instagram with your image and we will post it for you. Approved posts will appear below on the social wall, for all to enjoy!
Option 1: Create a handmade sign and post a photo.
Grab a piece of paper or poster board and write your welcome message, then snap a photo and post it using #wmWelcome.
