Student Conduct and Honor programs serve to maintain the College community's unique values and behavioral expectations of its students. The mission of Student Conduct is to educate students regarding their rights and responsibilities and assist in their development into productive citizens and mature adults. The program provides educational outreach, addresses allegations of misconduct in a fair and educationally-appropriate manner, and trains and advises the Honor System and various hearing boards.
Developing Personal Responsibility
The Student Conduct and Honor systems at the College of William & Mary exist to provide a living and learning environment that reflects the values of the community, including those of personal integrity, academic integrity, and responsibility. These values are reflected in the Honor Code, the Code of Conduct, and other College policies.
Staff members are available to provide information to students, faculty, and staff about the College community's standards, to provide information about relevant procedures, and to discuss complaints related to students or student groups.
Please refer to the Student Handbook for a complete explanation of the Conduct and Honor processes. In addition, flow charts depicting the Conduct (PDF) and Honor (PDF) processes are available for download and review.
