Housing Accommodation Requests for Current Students
Summer 2023 Housing Accommodations
Students Currently Registered with SAS:
If you are interested in housing accommodations for on-campus housing in the summer 2023 terms, please submit your request via Accommodate between the dates of April 10, 2023 and April 17, 2023.
Submit a request through Accommodate.- If you are already registered with SAS but are requesting a new housing accommodation:
- Log into your student Accommodate Portal.
- On the left, hover over the word/menu item “Accommodation”
- Select “Supplemental” from the Accommodation drop-down choices
- You will see a green “Add New” button. Click that button and answer the questions to request an additional accommodation.
Students Not Currently Registered with SAS
If you are not currently registered with SAS and are requesting accommodations for the first time:
- Complete the Accommodate self-registration.
- Submit documentation of your disability from a relevant medical or mental health professional. The Provider Form is the preferred documentation, but we can accept other forms of documentation as well. If you think you already have documentation on file that would support your requested accommodation, email sas@wm.edu to inquire about this. Documentation can be uploaded to Accommodate during step 1, emailed to sas@wm.edu, or faxed to 757-221-2538.
- Our staff will schedule an appointment to discuss your request. Once you have submitted your request and documentation, we will contact you for an intake appointment. We will contact you via your William & Mary email. If you need to cancel a scheduled appointment, you may do so through the Accommodate portal and indicate in the comments whether you would like to reschedule.
For requests received after April 17th, we will review and grant accommodations as soon as possible. While we try to accommodate all students, requests received after the deadline are accommodated by Residence Life if suitable residence space still is available at that time.
