Newly Registering Students

Welcome to Student Accessibility Services!

Are you new to William & Mary? Have you recently been diagnosed with a condition? Have you determined that you need accommodations that you were not sure you would need? Do you have a temporary disability for which you need accommodations?

Registering with Student Accessibility Services (SAS) may enable you to receive ADA accommodations and other services while you are a student at William & Mary. Registration is a streamlined process that involves creating an online account, providing documentation, and meeting with SAS staff. On this page you will find information about how to register with SAS. If you have any questions regarding the process, please contact SAS at sas@wm.edu or (757) 221-2512. We also invite you to watch our Parent & Family Programs webinar for more information about the registration process and the types of supports available through SAS.

In addition to registering with SAS, we also encourage students who identify as neurodiverse to participate in the Neurodiversity Bridge Program. The purpose of the W&M Bridge Program is to provide incoming neurodivergent students, both freshman and transfers, the opportunity to acclimate themselves to William & Mary.
