About Me

William &  Mary is like home for me, as I was raised in Virginia Beach and attended Kempsville High School. Prior to becoming part of the Tribe, I worked as Assistant Dean of Students at UNC Chapel Hill and as an Area Director in residence life at UNC and Tulane University. I am a proud Hokie, where I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology and English. I also hold a Masters in Higher Education from Florida State University and a Law degree from North Carolina Central University.

When not working, I am usually driving my two girls to their various activities and trying to fit in quality family time. As for hobbies, who has hobbies when they have busy children? That said, I do enjoy cooking and watching college football and basketball and my lifelong love affair with the Boston Red Sox (I am a true life-long fan since birth, not a recent adopter!).

I enjoy my work with students, even during the sometimes-difficult conduct process. Having grown a great deal in college myself, I believe the time at college can provide tremendous development for students, and I feel privileged that I get the ability to work with dynamic, intelligent, and energetic students every day.
