April Palmer

Assistant Director of Community Values & Restorative Practices

April has been working in the Dean of Students Office since July 2017, but has been working at W&M for 5 years. She came from South Carolina because she wanted a unique institution with strong academics and committed students. April enjoys working with students and engaging with them daily. She enjoys helping them become the best community members they can be. April helps students navigate decisions and build up a positive community at William and Mary. Every day brings new challenges, and she serves as a mentor and guide.

Fun Facts:

April loves college football -- especially her alma mater: Clemson
Her husband is a chef and she enjoys trying adventurous cuisine with him
Her undergraduate degree is in English and Theater and she was involved in one of the first productions of the Vagina Monologues
