About Me

Zara is originally from Lahore, Pakistan where she lived for 15 years before moving to the Philippines to attend high school. After graduating from the International School Manila, she moved to the U.S. for college. Zara attended Randolph College (founded as Randolph-Macon Woman’s College) where she studied Psychology and Environmental Science. Shortly after obtaining her degree from Randolph, she started her career at William & Mary as a graduate student in the Masters of Higher Education Administration Program. During her time as a graduate student, Zara had the pleasure of working as the Graduate Assistant for the Office of First Year Experience where she implemented New Student Orientation and First Year Initiatives. She also worked closely with the Orientation Area Directors and Orientation Aides. In her current role as the Coordinator of Parent & Family Programs, she is excited to serve as a resource for our family members.

Some fun facts about Zara's life: She speaks 3 languages fluently (English, Urdu and Punjabi). She hates wearing pants including but not limited to: jeans, sweatpants, slacks, leggings and jeggings. Shorts are okay she supposes.
