Professor Trichler is the Associate Director of the Global Research Institute. He previously served as Director of Operations at AidData, helping to scale the team of 3 to 30. Has also served as special assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, as well as a governance consultant to the World Bank and on the staff of Steve Radelet, Chief Economist at USAID. Former faculty assistant for Secretary Madeleine K. Albright, with field work in Brazil, Bolivia, Namibia and Morocco. Avid whitewater rafter, home renovator, and documentary dabbler. Father to two young girls who love dogs, ice cream, and their parents, in that order.
