There is no residency requirement for the DC Summer Institutes, but the W&M Washington Center rents brand new 2 bedroom/2 bathroom in Washington, DC for students who opt to live in our W&M sponsored housing. These apartments house 4 students each and are move-in ready!

Located a few metro stops away from the W&M Washington Center in the heart of shopping, dining, and DC culture,W&M sponsored housing is comprised of updated, safe housing complexes.
Students participating in the DC Winter Seminars may choose to live on their own or are given priority to W&M sponsored housing. DC Winter Seminars students are required to notify the Housing Coordinator of their housing needs by the date given by the DC Winter Seminar Coordinator. All students who request W&M sponsored housing by the given date are guaranteed housing for winter 2018.
Costs and Fees
The rates for those who choose to stay in W&M sponsored housing are $650 for a double room or $1,000 for a single room for the 10 day program.
