Drug-Free School and Workplace

The College of William and Mary complies with all federal and state regulations pertaining to the abuse of controlled substances including the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988, the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act of 1989 and the Department of Human Resource Management's Policy Number 1.05 - Alcohol and Other Drugs.

The U.S. Department of  Education's Drug-Free Schools and Campuses Regulations require that colleges and universities review their alcohol and other drug use polices and programs every two years. The 2016-2017 program report (pdf) is available for review.

Annual compliance notices are provided to students (pdf) and employees (pdf) on or around September 1 each year.
