Andrew is from a suburb of Philadelphia, PA and Atlanta, Georgia and holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Georgia State University and a Master of Science in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Andrew is also Certified as a Career Services Professional through the National Career Development Association. Andrew has been at William & Mary since February 2020, when he filled a newly created role of Education, Government, and Nonprofit liaison, and in the career development field for over four years. Before transitioning into higher education, Andrew worked as a Career Coach for a local nonprofit community based literacy organization. Andrew also has 13 years in the Child Welfare industry with positions including Social Worker, Family Services Supervisor, Regional Consultant, and Director of Family Services with County Government, Non-Profit, and For-Profit employers. Andrew enjoys working with students and building relationships with campus and community partners.
