Affiliate & Contractor Tribe Card
An affiliate W&M Username account may be requested for:
- volunteers
- visiting professors who are not teaching
- affiliated individuals who are not students, not employees and not teaching.
An affiliate's campus sponsor is able to request specific IT services (Blackboard, Shared Drives, email) and door access as it pertains to required responsibilities on campus. Access may be requested through the IT Department (via Request IT) and can take up to 2 business days to process.

All affiliates and contractors, including non-William & Mary faculty, staff and students will be assessed a $23 card fee. The fee for replacement cards is also $23.
Are you a Contractor?
Sometimes, individuals require access to campus to complete specific functions but do not qualify as an affiliate, instead he or she is considered a contractor. Contractors may be associated with duties such as:
- Vending
- Construction
- Departmental Services (i.e. the piano tuner)
