Given the pressures and higher tempo of the last nine months, many W&M employees have struggled to find time to rest, refocus and plan. Therefore, the university is piloting a “planned pause” over the winter break. The pause will give employees the space to slow down, recharge and reflect.

These pauses may involve shutting down for a period of time, lowering the tempo, day- or week-long training programs, retreats, celebrations and planning sessions. Our staff will continue to monitor email however our response time to inquiries and issues will be slowed as we adapt to this time. 

The Parking & Transportation Office continues to be closed to the public for walk-in business. For parking information we ask that you review the posted advisories or our FAQs first, if still in need of assistance then email parked or Transport  and one of our coordinators will reply within a business day. 

William & Mary Auxiliaries including Parking & Transportation Services has scheduled its planned pause for Dec. 16-23 and Jan 11-15. 

• All parking rules and regulations remain in effect as published, decals, passes, or Passport pay by phone sessions are required to park on campus from Monday at 7:00 am through Friday at 5:00 pm.

Holiday parking rules will be in effect while the university will be closed Dec. 24-Jan. 1 for winter break. Parking Services will reopen Monday, January 4.
