Remember You Must Register for Classes You Would Like to Attend!
The course catalog is available here. If you are teaching a minimum of 6 hours this semester, you are eligible for an honorary membership during the semester you are teaching or the semester following. This gives you the privilege of a regular membership without paying the membership fee, and includes an Osher parking permit. Classes fill up quickly so we would suggest you register online as soon as possible when the registration period opens (mid November for spring and mid July for fall). You may also register by mail - print out the registration form from the website, fill it out indicating honorary membership if you are eligible, and mail it to us. Registrations are processed on a first-come first-served basis.

Do You Have an Outline or Handouts for the Class You're Teaching?
Osher at W&M does not provide photocopying services to members or instructors. As a courtesy, class handouts (if applicable) are emailed to members.
Please provide your class materials at least 5 business days in advance of your course to allow sufficient time for emailing to the class roster.

New Instructor Orientation
Orientation is offered to new instructors. The presentation will include background information about Osher and how it is organized, how we assist you with your teaching assignment, and important timelines you need to be aware of as the semester gets underway. You will have an opportunity to ask questions and meet our staff, our curriculum groups, and other new and veteran instructors. Excellent instructors are a critical element of our widely admired program. We want your experience with us to be a good one, and we urge you to attend this important session. New Instructor Orientation is held 1-2 weeks before classes begin.

Audio-Visual Training
Instructors must become familiar with the equipment in their classroom. Training is scheduled 1-2 weeks before classes begin. The exact location and time will be emailed when information is available.

Instructor Parking
If you will be in the School of Ed, Wightman Cup Room, or Swem Library, you will need a W&M Osher parking hang tag. You can get a W&M parking hang tag that is valid for the whole semester by registering with W&M Parking Services at 104 Jamestown Road or by completing a parking registration form here.
