To be part of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, a membership fee is submitted with registration each semester. The fee amount depends on which type of membership you choose.
Regular Membership for a semester is $150 per person. This membership fee includes up to eight (8) course units spread over a twelve or fifteen-week semester, Town & Gown Noon Lecture Series, unlimited one-time lectures, other scheduled activities, and eligibility to participate in all other functions sponsored by the Institute.
This fee does not include books and materials for classes or the cost of Special Events.
The Swem Library of the College offers Regular Members borrowing privileges through membership in The Friends of the Library at no additional cost. You must present your current Osher name tag at the circulation desk to receive an annual borrower's card.
Associate Membership for a semester is $50 per person. This fee entitles one to enroll in the Town & Gown Noon Lecture Series and participate in Special Events. Associate members may not participate in Activities or Courses.
Additional Membership Benefits
Both Regular members and Associate members may serve on committees of the association and will receive a periodic emailed newsletter. W&M Bookstore offers a 20% discount on W&M logo items to any Osher member. You must present your current Osher name badge and photo ID to receive this discount.
