Started at W&M: I started working at VIMS/W&M in April 2003

Professional Experience: I came to the college after many years working for consulting companies related to IT.  I began my career as a Novell Certified Engineer working for GE Capital doing consulting work for many Novell customers in the Philadelphia area.  I joined the college as a Client Support Analyst working with the faculty and staff to maintain their computers.  In June 2012 was I promoted to Instructional Technology Specialist.  I’ve greatly enjoyed the challenges and changes that have presented themselves with this new role and look forward to all of the great advances happening so quickly in the field of Instructional Technology.

Responsibilities: 

  • Distance learning, primarily VTC with W&M for combined undergraduate/graduate courses 401/501
  • Video Conferencing
  • Lecture capture
  • Adobe Connect administrator
  • Blackboard support for VIMS
  • Maintain all ITNS loanable equipment
  • Technology Computing Lab support
  • All AV support for VIMS

Personal Interests: Tennis, Skiing, Fishing, Board games, family time.  Avid soccer player and coach of U14 boys Baystars travel team.  Enjoy traveling with my 3 boys and lovely wife to any beach or mountain we can get to.
