How long at the college: Since August, 2005
My professional experience: Prior to coming to William & Mary, I served as Database Administrator for 8 years at the National Center for State Courts. I came to William & Mary in 2005 as Sr. Software Engineer and became Associate Director of eLearning for the Raymond A. Mason School of Business in 2013. I work closely with faculty and serve as Lead for the Faculty Engagement Workstream for the Online MBA Program. I also serve as Interim Team Lead for Technology Services in the Business School.
From 2011-2015, I organized the W&M eLearning Community and planned all meetings. The Community now has 340+ members. I also organized and chaired the planning committee for the annual W&M Teaching & Technology Expo from 2013-2015. I enjoy working with faculty and using educational technologies to engage students.
Education: I received my BBA in Computer Information Systems and my MBA with a concentration in Information Security from James Madison University. As a Ph.D. student, I am currently studying Educational Policy, Planning and Leadership in Higher Education at William & Mary’s School of Education. My area of interest is eLearning.
