WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – After playing a pair of top-five nationally ranked opponents during the past two weeks, the No. 18/20 William and Mary football team will continue its challenging conference slate when it hosts Delaware this Saturday at 12:30 p.m. The game will be televised regionally on Comcast SportsNet.

Although W&M has lost its last two games – both against top-five nationally ranked opponents – it enters Saturday's matchup with a 4-3 record overall and a 1-2 mark in conference play. The Tribe is coming off its best offensive performance of the season against Villanova last weekend, as it piled up 518 total yards of offense. W&M's defense also performed well and equaled its season high with six sacks.

After opening the season with a 3-1 record, Delaware has lost two of its last three contests but enters Saturday's game with a 4-3 record overall and a 2-1 mark in league action. The Blue Hens' lone league loss came at home last weekend against Towson, while it owns CAA victories against James Madison and Elon.

Saturday's contest will mark the 39th meeting between W&M and Delaware, as the Blue Hens hold a 22-16 advantage. However, W&M has won four of the last six meetings, including a 24-10 victory at Delaware last season. Although UD owns a 12-6 advantage in games played in Newark, the series is tied, 10-10, in Williamsburg.
