BOV to meet in Williamsburg, Petersburg
The Board of Visitors at the College of William and Mary will meet in Williamsburg and Petersburg on Dec. 1-3, 2010.
Committee meetings will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010 in Williamsburg, Va., in Blow Memorial Hall located at 262 Richmond Road. The meetings will conclude by 5:45 p.m., and the Board will attend a dinner at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Board member Charles Banks located at 5631 White Hall Road in Gloucester, Va.
On Thursday, Dec. 2, the Board will begin at 9:15 a.m. in Petersburg with a campus tour of Richard Bland College. The Richard Bland College Committee will meet from 10:15-11:30 a.m. in the Library Community Room in the Commons Building. Following lunch, the Board will return to Williamsburg and reconvene at 2 p.m. in the Board room at Blow Hall. Meetings on Thursday are expected to conclude by 6 p.m. The Board will reconvene for dinner at 6:30 p.m. at the Plumeri House, located at 119 Chandler Court.
On Friday, Dec. 3, the meetings will begin at 8 a.m. in Blow Hall and should conclude by 12:30 p.m. The Board will then attend a lunch with students organized by the William & Mary Student Assembly in Blow Hall room 201.
The meetings are open to the public, but there will be no opportunity for public comment.
