Dear William & Mary Community –
The National Weather Service is tracking two winter storms forecasted to bring snow and potential ice to the Williamsburg area later this week.
Due to the weather, the university has decided to postpone move-in for all undergraduate, residential students (new and returning).
• Move-in for all residential students will now be Monday, January 24.
• New students should follow their originally assigned appointment time and instructions for move in and key pick up, simply shifting the move in date to Monday.
• Returning students may proceed directly to their residence hall beginning at 8:30 am Monday.
• If you have already completed your pre-arrival COVID-19 testing and have been cleared for return to campus, no additional testing will be required as a result of this change.
• Student Transition Engagement Programs will communicate with new incoming students about a revised orientation program. Please check your W&M email account for this message.
• RAs will be contacted with additional details about impacts on their planned move-in and trainings.
• Follow wmdining on Facebook or Instagram for the latest reopening information for dining locations on campus.
