W&M Board of Visitors to meet virtually on May 12
The William & Mary Board of Visitors will meet by electronic means May 12, 2020, in accordance with Amendment 137 to the General Assembly’s 2020-22 Biennium Budget Bill. The amendment provides governing boards the ability to hold meetings electronically without a quorum present in one location while the Commonwealth is under a State of Emergency.
Committee meetings will begin at approximately 10:30 a.m. with the Richard Bland College Committee and should conclude by noon. At noon, the Executive Committee will meet and should conclude at 1 p.m. At approximately 1 p.m., the full Board meeting will begin and should conclude at 4 p.m.
The meetings will be held in open and closed sessions. The open sessions for both Committees and the full Board may be accessed via the following link on the Board webpage: www.wm.edu/bovmeeting
Members of the public can also submit written comments to the Board using the following form: https://forms.wm.edu/44883. This form will be available beginning at 2 p.m. on May 7 through the adjournment of the Board meeting on May 12. All written submissions will be compiled and circulated to the full Board.
All times are approximate, and the Board reserves the right to adjust its schedule as necessary. There will be no opportunity for public comment during the meeting.
