To the William & Mary and VIMS Community,
In compliance with the provisions of the Clery Act, William & Mary is giving an update to the sexual assault report of September 18, 2015. The William & Mary Police Department continue to fully investigate the report. The alleged perpetrator is no longer on campus and has been banned from any campus property until the matter is resolved. The university prohibits sexual assault, non-consensual sexual touching and other forms of sexual misconduct. For more information, visit www.wm.edu/sexualviolence.

In compliance with the provisions of the Clery Act, William & Mary is giving notice of a reported sexual assault.
On September 18, 2015, the William & Mary Police Department was notified of a sexual assault occurring on campus. The William & Mary Police Department is investigating the report. We have identified the alleged perpetrator and we are pursuing a criminal investigation. Additionally, steps are being taken to remove the reported offender from the William & Mary community at this time.
