Background
Professor Wesp has been the resident costume designer in the Department of Theatre, Speech and Dance since 1983. She served as Department Chair from 1999-2004. She has designed costumes and scenery for William and Mary Theatre, William and Mary Dance, the Duke University Drama Program, Charlotte, NC Rep, The Green Mountain Guild, Street 70, the University of Florida and Michigan State University. She received Port Folio's Production Values award for the Virginia Shakespeare Festival production of Wild Oats. She has been Costume Designer for the Virginia Shakespeare Festival for seventeen seasons and expects to work her way through the remaining one-quarter of Shakespeare's plays before she retires.
