W&M Public Policy: Graduate Program

We provide our students with the intellectual tools needed to improve the quality of policymaking in the United States and abroad. Our full-time residential program combines the world-renowned faculty and academic setting of W&M’s Williamsburg, Virginia campus with frequent off-campus programs in Washington and work with real-world clients.

Beginning in the Fall of 2016 students can concentrate either in Public Policy Analysis (PPA) or participate in our new track in International Development and Policy (IDP). Students in the IDP track will work closely with W&M’s AidData Center for Development Policy. Each of our tracks is limited to 25 new students per year - a size that allows unmatched access to faculty members and a strong sense of community. The strong applied and analytic skills of our MPP graduates are highly regarded by the public and private sector in both the U.S. and abroad.
