When
NIAHD's Pre-College Program in American History consists of two 3-week sessions. Students should only apply to the session that their personal schedules allow them to attend. NIAHD expects students to attend the morning site visit and their afternoon seminar discussion each day of the program.
The dates for Summer 2023 are:
Session 1 - June 18 - July 8, 2023
Session 2 - July 9 - July 29, 2023
Where
Students in History 216, History 217, and History 218 will live, sleep, and study on the main campus of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. All residential Pre-College students and staff will be housed together in one of the dormitories on campus, which will be a short walk from the dining hall, library, and classrooms.
Students selecting History 212, our virtual course option, will have the ability to study wherever they please. The course will be live/synchronous and based on Eastern Standard Time in the United States.
More information on our Course Offerings can be found on the Summer Courses page.
