Students in NIAHD's Pre-College Program in American History will see, do, hear, find, and make history during their 3 weeks at William & Mary. Daily site visits and seminar discussions immerse students in American history as they learn about people and events that shaped this nation and the places where these events happened.

Students who attend NIAHD's Pre-College Summer Program will:

Learn about history where it happened
Dig at an archaeological site
Earn transferable college credit from William & Mary
Gain college-level reading and writing skills
Live in a William & Mary dorm

NIAHD also can connect Pre-College alumni to our network of historians, architectural historians, archaeologists, curators, and public historians who can help connect students to internship opportunities and to share career advice.
