Regarding immunizations and vaccinations for students applying for History 217 and History 218
NIAHD will have students on-campus at William & Mary for the Pre-College Program in American History this Summer 2022. To ensure a safe, healthy, and successful summer program for all students, staff, faculty, and our community at large, NIAHD will follow W&M's guidelines and requirements regarding immunizations and vaccinations for full-time, residential students.
From W&M's Student Health Center:
A physician appointment/physical is NOT necessary. An official copy of your Immunization Record IS required to complete the Health Evaluation Form [provided by NIAHD upon acceptance into the program]. This record is required to be in English and must contain the following immunizations:
- Two M.M.R. Vaccines (after your first birthday).
- Three Hepatitis B Vaccines (or signed waiver).
- Tetanus Vaccine (within the past 10 years).
- Meningitis Vaccine (after your sixteenth birthday/or signed waiver).
From W&M's "The Path Forward" for Students & Families:
COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
Full vaccination is in the best interests of the health of the W&M community. William & Mary requires COVID-19 vaccination for all students, faculty, and staff unless an expressed medical or religious exemption applies.
