W&M Biology Alumnus Publishes Book
W&M Biology Alumnus Dr. Joseph J. Torres, Professor Emeritus at the College of Marine Science, University of South Florida, recently published a text/reference book entitled "Life in the Open Ocean: The Biology of Pelagic Species" that is dedicated in part to Dr. Charlotte P. Mangum, a comparative zoology professor at W&M from 1964-1998. Dr. Torres notes that Dr. Mangum was his first mentor and that "she was a wonder and helped shape the lives of many of us."
