Winning Art Selected in Student Contest

Finalists and a winner in the Arts & Sciences 2013 Student Art Contest have been announced by the Dean's Office.

The contest was open to all students currently enrolled at William and Mary. Entries were judged by a small committee consisting of a professor in the Art and Art History Department, a curator from the Muscarelle Museum, staff in the Dean's Office, and the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

The winning entry is an oil on canvas by Kate Fleming '14, "Kelsey with Large Still Life." Kate will receive a $250 prize.

The judging committee also designated two art works as finalists in the contest.
