Several current W&M students discussed their work at the November 2011 Society for Neuroscience Conference in Washington, D.C. Akie Fujita ’12 and Sabrina Haque ’12 presented "Effects of Nicotine on Delay Discounting with Multiple Alternative Choices Trained in a Radial Arm Maze" and Kiah Hardcastle ’13 presented "A Population Activity Model of Cortico-Striatal Circuitry Underlying Behavioral Inhibition in Rats."
Both past and present W&M students attending the conference took some time out to socialize and catch up (see photos above) at a reception sponsored by the W&M Neuroscience Program. The reception was hosted by Professor Josh Burk and Professor John Griffin, Director and Associate Director of the Neuroscience Program, to celebrate student and alumni accomplishments.
