The upperclass Monroe Scholars may work on their research project over the summer, but preparing for the project takes an entire academic year. Here's what to expect:
**Attend the Summer Research Showcase to talk with summer 2017 researchers about their work**
September - November 2017
Attend one or more of the Monroe information sessions offered by Charles Center staff.
November 8, 2017 (Rising Sophomore Monroe Scholar Program applicants)
Deadline for application submission on Embark, including advisor endorsements and supplemental materials.
December 1, 2017 (current Scholars)
Deadline for submitting your Summer 2018 Monroe Project Idea form. Note: you are required to speak with a potential faculty advisor before completing this form.
January 31, 2018 (current Scholars)
Deadline for application submission on Embark, including advisor endorsements. StudentIRB protocols must be exempted. Check your email for application instructions.
March 31, 2017
Deadline for all Monroes to post your project abstract to the blog
Research, research, research (and blog)!
August 31, 2018
Deadline to submit your final product to your project advisor
Mid September – early October, 2018
