La Sonrisa Del Camello
¡Qué día bonito! El sol llueve sobre mi espalda, la arena baila bajo mis pies. Me encanta la sensación del viento Viaja conmigo a través del desierto.
Corro mucho. En la noche, en el día. En mis sueños. Corro cuando quiero Y corro cuando correr me castiga.
Mis padres y sus padres Sus padres y sus padres Todos nosotros corríamos. A través del desierto A través de las mismas arenas Con pies que prueban libertad y tragan cuerdas.
Esta espalda ondulada no es mi espalda Ni estas pestañas ingeniosas Ni estos pies suaves
La cosa solamente Que puedo llamar mía Vive en mis labios
Es la sonrisa boba que llevo Fuerte e incorrecta Una sonrisa de esperanza En un desierto desolado. |
The Camel's Smile
What a beautiful day! The sun rains on my back, the sands dace under my feet. I love the feeling of the wind Traveling with me across the desert.
I run. In the night, in the day. In my dreams. I run when I want to And I run when to run makes me sick.
My father his father His father and his father. All of us run. Across the desert Across the same sands With feet that taste liberty and swallow ropes.
This undulating back isn't my back Nor these ingenious eyelashes Nor these smooth feet
The only thing That I can call my own Lives on my lips
It's the stupid smile that I wear Strong and wrong A smile of hope In a desolate desert. |
