During her years as a William & Mary undergraduate, Lisa studied abroad in Berlin with IES at the Humboldt University. Upon graduation, she worked abroad for UNICEF and later at the Center for Development Research (ZEF) at the University of Bonn. Following these positions, she worked in the strategy department of Detecon, an international German consulting firm. Upon attending William & Mary Law School, Lisa was hired as a summer associate at Powell Goldstein LLP. She focused on issues in international law, trade and anti-corruption. She also joined a team of lobbyists that met with members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to push for the ratification of the UN Convention Against Corruption. Upon graduation in May 2007, Lisa will be joining Powell Goldstein in their Washington, D.C. office.
