An Honors Research Project during the senior year is an excellent opportunity to complete publishable research with a Kinesiology & Health Sciences professor. The Charles Center coordinates honors projects - see their web site for information on planning an honors project and for examples of completed honors projects.

Only students with specific courses and laboratory experience with a professor will be considered for the Honors Courses, KINE 495(3 credits) and KINE 496 (3 credits).

Eligibility and Admission to Department Honors is contigent on one of the following:
   1. a 3.0 cumulative GPA, or
   2. a 3.0 GPA for the junior year alone, or
   3. special permission of the Committee on Honors and Interdisciplinary Studies.

Planning for the Honors Project must begin during the Spring of the Junior year.

The instructions and deadlines for the Honors courses are located in the Undergraduate Course Catalog under Requirements for Degrees, Section III.
