Among other programs, we have a clinic on our campus that serves an area of over 15,000 people with general medical care, health education classes, dental and eye care. I have been working with the Honduran Dr.'s as a consultant for the health education programs, helping them with research and teaching methods. It has taken me back to my original desires that began at William and Mary, to teach practical and preventative public health classes. Now, if I had only had the foresight to take Spanish as well! For more information about El Ayudante, visit our web-site at eahonduras.org. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do to impact lives both locally and globally. (6/15)
