BioJane graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Agnes Scott College in 2016 with a B.A. in History. Her senior thesis studied women's agency in didactic literature of the 18th century, particularly in early America. She worked as an interpreter at Colonial Williamsburg before starting at William & Mary.
In pursuit of her M.A., she is studying the 17th- and 18th-century book trade, especially in the French and British empires. Her focus is on how culture is transmitted from imperial centers to peripheries through literature. Jane serves as a Graduate Apprentice at the Earl Gregg Swem Library in the Special Collections Department.
