Maddison Rhoa received a BA in History and a BA in English from the Schreyer Honors College of The Pennsylvania State University. Her primary research interests include Irish history, early American history, literature and culture, nationalism and national identity, and the history of rebellion and independence movements. She is particularly interested in the way in which novels influence thought, culture, political movement, and history, as well as how they reflect the intellectual nuances of a specific time. Maddison published her first novel in June 2017.
