About 500 students from all over the world study in eleven graduate degree programs in Arts & Sciences here at William & Mary. They are a select and competitive group of individuals representing a diverse range of interests and backgrounds. The goal of the Office of Graduate Studies and Research is to provide each graduate student with an enriching, nurturing, and challenging environment that will prepare them for future success.
The Student Portfolios are a joint initiative of the A&S Graduate Student Association and the Office of Graduate Studies and Research. These compilations attest to the high quality of our graduate students' scholarly work and successes. They also can be useful to prospective students looking for a sense of how they might achieve their own academic goals through pursuit of a particular graduate degree.
