2024 Graduate & Honors Research Symposium
March 20-22, 2024
The Graduate & Honors Research Symposium is hosted by the Arts & Sciences Graduatee Center and W&M's Charles Center for Academic Excellence. The Symposium will feature W&M's Three Minute Thesis Competition on Wednesday evening, March 20; the Symposium in the Sadler Center will take place March 21-22, (Thursday & Friday). This distinctive event encourages interdisciplinary exchange, bringing together students from across Arts & Sciences at William & Mary and other surrounding regional universities.

The theme of this year's Symposium is "Connections," highlighting the interdisciplinarity and relatedness found within our community of researchers. Over 150 graduate and honors students will present.

Wednesday, March 20
- 3MT Competition, 7 p.m., Commonwealth Auditorium; reception to follow
Thursday, March 21
- Research Talks, 9:30-4:30 a.m. (1-hour concurrent sessions)
- Coffee, tea, and snacks available all day
- Research Talks, 9:15-11:30 a.m. (1-hour concurrent sessions)
- Graduate Award Winners' Panel, 10:30-11:30
- Honors "Thesis in Three" event, 11:00-12:00
- Lunch break, 12:00-12:30
- Research Talks, 12:30-3:00 p.m. (1-hour concurrent sessions)
- Honors ePoster Sessions, 12:30-3:00 p.m.
- Poster Session & Networking Reception, 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Fees
There are none! Registration fees for this event are being waived for 2024. However, presenters are responsible for any travel-related expenses, as well as costs associated with printing research posters for presentation.
