COVID-19 Update: GWRC's Write-ins have been suspended for the rest of the semester. If interested in virtual Write-ins, please email [[sgglos,Sarah Glosson]].
What's a "Write-in"?
Write-ins are writing retreats hosted by GWRC in the Graduate Student Commons (2nd floor, Swem) on Saturday mornings, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. You’re welcome to come once, or come every week! Please register for the sessions you plan to attend. We provide snacks! You should bring your own coffee and a can-do attitude!
If you're trying to make progress on an article, dissertation, or other big project, but would benefit from some quiet camaraderie, and a structured time to focus on your writing, we welcome you to join us for this weekly writing retreat. Our goal is to provide a time and space for graduate students to set writing goals and work without interruption in a supportive environment. A GWRC consultant will facilitate the session and be available for 30-minute appointments to answer specific questions or review select segments of text.
To participate in one or more Write-ins, please register. For Spring 2020, Write-ins will begin on Saturday, February 1. All available Write-in dates are listed on the registration form. Participation is free to grad students. Please contact [[sgglos,Sarah Glosson]] with questions.
