Benjamin Mays '81 -  Benjamin W. (Ben) Mays was appointed as the Loudoun County's (VA) Chief Financial Officer and Director of the Department of Management and Financial Services. (12/12)

Kareema Turner Mitchell '01  -  Kareema was admitted to the Utah State Bar in May 2012. She is an associate attorney with the Schmidt & Gladstone Law Firm, a boutique firm in Salt Lake City. Kareema practices in the areas of family law, personal injury and immigration. (09/12)

Matthew Sheiffer '97 - Matt (1997) and Tami Sheiffer welcomed the birth of their son, Daniel Henry, on 30 JUN 12. Matt, Tami, Cora, Sylvia, and Daniel will be returning to Virginia in DEC 12 for a tour at the Pentagon. (07/12)

Grant Neely '94  -  Grant has moved to Basel, Switzerland, to lead executive communication at the health care firm Novartis. He left a similar role at Pfizer, after seven years in New York City. He loves Europe, but longs to be back at home in Richmond. (07/12)

Marcus Hicks  '00  - I'm currently the Director of the Office of ZCommunity Programs, New Jersey Department of Corrections. I manage a budget and programs in excess of $64 million for offenders who are reintegrating back into society. I'm married to my wife, Darlene Ramos Hicks, Esq., and we live in Metuchen, NJ. (02/12)

Elizabeth McMath  Byam '79 -  I work at The Kingsbury Center in Washington, DC, as a tutor for students with learning disabilities with a focus on teaching reading to students with dyslexia and other language-based disabilities. This year I am teaching Virginia History to a student with language-based learning disabilities. (01/12)
