Bio
Theresa Ronquillo (she/her/hers) received her Ph.D. in Social Welfare from the University of Washington in 2008 and is an interdisciplinary educator, educational developer, social justice theater facilitator and practitioner, and teaching artist. In higher education settings she has taught courses in social work, social justice theater, Southeast Asia studies, and diversity and inclusion leadership. While at the University of Washington, she co-founded and co-directed Theater for Change UW, a program which uses interactive and participatory theater approaches to advance community dialogue and promote individual, group, educational and institutional change.  

More recently, Dr. Ronquillo founded Embody Change LLC, a collaborative consulting and facilitation practice focused on creativity, embodied learning, community building, and anti-oppression. She also runs the Mosaic Project, a writing and storytelling space for APIA community members.
