Kathleen Kidder received her Ph.D. in Classics from the University of Cincinnati (2018). She is currently converting her dissertation into a monograph. In this project, she examines representations of truth and falsehood in the works of five Hellenistic poets. Aside from her specialty in Hellenistic poetry, she is broadly interested in aesthetics, epistemology, women in antiquity, animals, monsters, and gems. Additional hobbies include writing poetry, learning Japanese, and making Photoshop collages.
