Background
Emily Heery (née Legaard) received her Master of Science in Chemistry from William & Mary in 2022. In her second year as a graduate teaching assistant, she was awarded the Alfred Armstrong Chemistry Graduate Student Teaching Assistant Award to recognize her talent as an instructor. Her master's research involved analytical atmospheric chemistry in the O'Brien Lab. In fall 2022, she will teach a lab section of CHEM 309 Instrument Analysis.
