Community Partners

Students and faculty in the Sharpe Community Scholars Program work with a variety of community partners, including government agencies and offices, non-profit and grassroots organizations, corporate professionals, churches, citizen-leaders, and residents to accomplish mutually defined and shared goals.

Community partners are a valued component of the integrative learning fostered by the Sharpe program, adding practical and professional knowledge beyond the parameters of traditional scholarship and the classroom. Community partners take an interest in our students' learning, and are often co-educators to our students.
