Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a degree in the United Kingdom. Up to forty Scholars are selected each year to study at graduate level at a UK institution in any field of study.
The Marshall Scholars program looks for candidates who have the potential to excel as scholars, as leaders and as contributors to improved UK-US understanding. Selection will be based on academic merit, leadership potential and ambassadorial potential. Be sure to read the Marshall eligibility requirements before applying (applicants must have a GPA of 3.7 at the time of application).
Note: Students who complete the William & Mary Joint Degree Program with the University of St. Andrews are not eligible for a Marshall Scholarship.
