Thanks to an innovative program funded by the Freeman Foundation, 22 William & Mary undergraduates are gaining real-world experience in internships at 18 different sites in 10 Asian countries this summer.
The Charles Center and the Reves Center for International Studies joined forces this spring to host a send-off for this year's Freeman Fellows in East Asia!
Twenty-two Fellows are participating in summer internships in ten countries spanning the continent, from Mongolia to China to Laos. Internship hosts include academic institutions, nongovernment organizations, and corporations.
Freeman Fellows are awarded up to $6,500 to pursue internships in a variety of fields, including education, nonprofit management, business, and scientific research.
Applications for next year's program will open in Fall 2023!
